Dr. Aida is a consultant hematopathology, Farwaniya Hospital, Kuwait. She has a master’s degree in clinical & chemical Pathology (2002) and a Medical Doctorate in Hematopathology (2008), Faculty of Medicine, Benha University, Egypt where she is also a lecturer of Hematopathology. Dr. Aida won the safety star award for 2023 by the Ministry’s Quality and accreditation department. She is interested in her research on malignant hematological disorders and point of care testing with numerous publications in international considerate medical journals. She participated as a speaker and organizer of many conferences. She is the site coordinator for Hematopathology and Clinical Hematology fellowship Residency programs of KIMS. Dr. Aida is an active participant of many committees of Farwaniya hospital.

Dr Maha Jassim Bourusly is a pediatric consultant at the department of hematology and oncology at the NBK Children’s Hospital in Kuwait. Dr Maha received her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Kuwait University, in 1990 and completed her training in General Pediatrics at Al-Amiri hospital Kuwait. She received her Diploma in child health, Dublin (DCH) 1994, Kuwait Board in Pediatrics (PGTP) 2002, and MRCPCH (UK) 2003. Dr Maha Joined the PHOST at NBK in 2003. Over her 33 years of practice, Dr. Maha has developed experience in general Pediatrics and pediatric hematology and leukemia. Vice head and Pediatric league, former head of Thalassemia league, KMA.
